Ballyrobert Supports Young Graduates

Ballyrobert CareersBallyrobert Vauxhall, based in Bangor and Mallusk, are very proud to announce that three of their young employees were part of the graduation ceremonies at the Waterfront Hall in July 2010.

Ballyrobert are always keen to support young people in workplace learning and have partnered with the University of Ulster for several years employing placement students so that they may gain their Diploma in Industrial Studies as part of their degree course.

Ballyrobert CareersLaura McDowell has been with the company for four years now and was the company’s first placement student to be employed. Kim Moore has been with the company since 2007 and worked alongside Laura in the marketing team. Both girls previously graduated with Honours degrees in Business related disciplines and this year with an Advanced Diploma in Management Practice which was supported by the management at Ballyrobert Vauxhall. The Advanced Diploma was run in partnership with the University of Ulster and Parity Solutions Ltd and the girls were encouraged by the company to undertake the course and bring added value to the workforce.

Lisa Kelly completed her degree in Business studies and graduated with Honours at Thursday’s graduation. Lisa has been with the company since 2008 and now works actively as part of the marketing team.
