WHAT IS MOTABILITY? Enjoy greater independance with Motability

The Motability Scheme offers an affordable way for qualifying people to lease a new car, wheelchair-accessible vehicle, scooter or powered wheelchair. The government-backed Motability Scheme has been running since the 1970s and has been responsible for helping those with a disability maintain a level of independence that may otherwise have been impossible.

AM I APPLICABLE? Discover if you qualify for Motability

To be eligible to join the scheme, you need to receive one of these disability allowances:
- Enhanced rate mobility part of PIP
- Higher-rate mobility part of DLA
- War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
- Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP )
You need to have at least 12 months left on your allowance if you are applying to join the scheme.
If you have less than 12 months, you will need to wait until your allowance provider renews your allowance.
